Rod Transport Unit
The Spyder Oilfield Inc. Rod Transport Unit is specifically designed to provide our customers with an efficient, cost effective solution for the on-site service of any brand of Continuous/Coiled Rod. This unit greatly improves our ability to address the need for in-field string repair, worn rod replacement, and removal of non-useable rod. From rod transport to well site repairs, this unit combined with our experienced field personnel, enhances our suite of specialized value-add support services.
FEATURES:
• Equipped with pinch rollers, rod shears and picker
• Hydraulically driven Transportation Reel
• 3000lb warn Winch for safe rod handling
• Active braking system on the reel as an added safety feature
CAPABILITIES:
• Complete field repair of any type of worn/damaged string while well is being serviced
• Removal of worn Continuous/Coiled Rod from location
• Hauling of Continuous/Coiled Rod for installation and/or repair
• Accurate string length measurement
Field Welding
Spyder Oilfield Inc.’s Field Welders are special gas fired systems that are proven to produce exceptional welds to Continuous/Coiled Rod. The result is an extremely mobile, portable and cost effective system. The simplicity and portability of the welder results in a reduction of service time and expenses.
This unit is equipped to handle a variety of different Continuous/Coiled Rod related welding tasks:
• Custom pin to pin string fabrication
• Replacement of top or bottom pin
• Repair to broken rod
• Removal & replacement of worn sections of rod
Spyder Oilfield Inc. provides ·field welding services with any Continuous/Coiled Rod manufacturer or servicing provider.
Gripper Services
Spyder Oilfield Inc. operates specialized equipment that can install or remove any size and brand of Continuous/Coiled Rod. Our Gripper Units can be deployed to service Continuous/Coiled Rod applications in conjunction with an existing service rig or flush-by unit, either conventional or slant. The Gripper Unit allows Continuous/Coiled Rod to be serviced just as easily as coupled sucker rod.
Hot Shot and Picker Services
Spyder Oilfield Inc. has both small and large Hot Shot and Picker options available. Whether it's 1 joint of 88.9mm pipe or 200 joints, we can handle it.
Micro-Plant and Pipe Yard
Spyder Oilfield Inc. inventories many different grades and sizes of Continuous/Coiled Rod. We build to our customers desired lengths and deliver. We inspect and store Customer owned inventories and dispose of all scrap product. We stock New and Used Yellow Band and Blue Band pipe as well as buy back customer pipe/Red. We manage and provide inventory reports for customers at their request. When you need product, contact us and we'll look after the rest!
